FedEx WooCommerce Shipping
AvailableFedEx rates and labels for WooCommerce. Two lineages exist on disk: a large MEF custom “FedEx Rates” plugin and a PluginHive-based fork. The deal must name which tree transfers and what attribution/license that implies.
A Woo merchant gets FedEx in checkout/admin instead of exporting CSVs to FedEx.com.
Why it matters
Same-day and overnight merchants do not get a second chance at a label. This listing is that carrier integration, not a dashboard skin.
What it does
Checkout requests FedEx rates; admin prints labels; tracking meta lands on the order. HPOS compatibility applies to the PluginHive-line version.
Operational advantage
Label time and rate accuracy. The MEF file is thousands of lines of already-paid integration pain.
Build vs buy
Do not start another FedEx WSDL/REST Woo plugin. Do choose the correct lineage.
What makes this different
MEF version includes custom order meta migration and operator-branded settings; PluginHive fork is a mature third-party base.
Where this gets used
- Priority overnight at checkout
- Admin label print after P2P payment clears
Commercial paths
- Plugin license (MEF custom)
- Integrator maintenance of the PluginHive fork (mind their license)
Best buyer fit
Woo shipping publishers and merchants already on FedEx — after lineage confirmation.
Current status
Available. Two codebases. Not an official FedEx endorsement.
Notes
Confirm MEF custom vs PluginHive fork before money moves. They are not drop-in interchangeable.
